Our Vision
The Optimist Club of Menomonee Falls will be recognized as the primary volunteer organization that values all children and helps them develop to their full potential.
Club Fund-Raising Events
Our Optimist Club is comprised of people who want to help our youth and our community. We generally live or work in the Menomonee Falls area and have joined together to raise money to help organizations that help our kids. And…we have fun while doing it!
How Do We Raise Money?
We generate funds through a number of activities, including…
- The Optimist Club Annual Scholarship Golf Outing
- The Popcorn Wagon at Village Park
- The Optimist Club Annual Packer Raffle and Tailgate Party
- Resident Donations for Senior Leaf-Raking
Periodic other fund-raisers including meat raffles, bags tournaments and more!
Sponsored Community Events
You will see the Optimist Club at many events throughout the year. Some of our most visible activities include:
- Sponsorship and coordination of the annual Independence Day and Christmas Parades
- Putting on the annual Youth Fishing Derby
- Sports competitions including Tri-Star Baseball and Tri-Star Soccer
- Distinguished Young Women
- Oratorical and Essay Contests
- Leaf Raking for Senior Citizens
- Annual Holiday Drop n Shop
And… we share our funds with various organizations that focus on bringing out the best in kids in our community.
